Play Online in Canada: Winberry Licence, Provincial Rules and Player Information
19+ notice: This page is intended for adults aged 19 and over. You must also meet the legal age and other requirements that apply in your province or territory. Online gambling regulations differ across Canada.
Before accessing an online casino, check whether the service is permitted where you are physically located. A website being accessible from Canada does not automatically mean that its operator is authorised to offer gambling services in every province.
This independent Winberry information page explains how to check provincial gambling rules, verify operator details, understand payment conditions and make more informed decisions. It is not an official casino website, registration portal or account service.
Check Whether Online Gambling Is Permitted in Your Province
Canada does not have one identical online gambling framework for every province. Regulatory arrangements, approved operators and minimum legal ages can differ depending on your location.
Ontario
Ontario operates a regulated internet gaming market. iGaming Ontario publishes an official directory of gaming websites offered by operators contracted with the organisation.
According to the directory checked for this article, the register contained 49 operators and 84 gaming websites, with information stated to be accurate as of September 1, 2026. Winberry was not found in that directory during our check.
Players should consult the current directory rather than relying on a casino's marketing claims or an international licence.

British Columbia
British Columbia has a different regulatory system. According to the provincial government's gambling information and the Independent Gambling Control Office, commercial gambling is managed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
PlayNow.com is identified by the provincial regulator as the only permitted online gambling website in British Columbia. Therefore, users physically located in B.C. should not assume that an internationally licensed casino is authorised to operate there.
Read the official B.C. gambling regulations
Other Canadian Provinces and Territories
Requirements in other provinces and territories should be checked separately. Do not assume that a website permitted in one province is automatically approved in another.
- Identify your current physical location.
- Find the relevant provincial regulator or official government website.
- Check permitted online gambling services.
- Confirm the applicable minimum legal age.
- Review any geographic or account restrictions before proceeding.
How to Verify Winberry Casino Licensing
Before relying on a casino's licence claims, identify the actual operating company and compare its details against the relevant public regulatory register.
Winberry's published Terms of Use identify the following information:
| Licensing detail | Published information |
|---|---|
| Website | winberry.casino |
| Operator | 3-102-937610 SRL |
| Company registration | Costa Rica |
| Registration number | 3102937610 |
| Licensing jurisdiction | Anjouan, Union of Comoros |
| Licence number | ALSI-202510054-FI2 |
The Anjouan public register identifies the licence as a B2C licence for 3-102-937610 SRL. At the time of checking, the register showed a valid status, an issue date of October 29, 2025 and an expiry date of October 28, 2027. The domain winberry.casino was included in the registered domain list.
These details establish what is published in the international licensing register. They do not establish that Winberry is approved by every Canadian provincial regulator.
Before relying on a licence claim, check:
- The exact legal name of the operating company.
- The licence number and current status.
- The issue and expiry dates.
- Whether the domain you are visiting appears in the register.
- The regulator's complaint and dispute resolution procedures.
Understand Deposits, Withdrawals and Money Conditions
Payment conditions should be reviewed before making a deposit. Payment logos displayed on a website do not guarantee that a method is available for every account or Canadian province.
Review the following information in the verified account cashier and the operator's current Terms:
- Deposit methods: Confirm which payment options are actually available to your account.
- Currency: Check whether CAD is supported or whether another currency and conversion are required.
- Transaction limits: Review minimum and maximum deposit and withdrawal amounts.
- Processing fees: Identify possible operator, bank and payment-provider charges.
- Withdrawal rules: Check processing conditions, verification requirements and applicable limits.
- Payment ownership: Use payment instruments registered in your own name where required.
Also review bonus wagering conditions. Promotional balances can have additional restrictions that affect betting and withdrawals.
Never send money using payment instructions received through an unofficial message or third-party account.
Identity Verification and Account Security
Online gambling operators may require Know Your Customer (KYC) checks to verify identity, address, age and payment ownership.
Before submitting personal documents:
- Confirm that you are using the correct operator website.
- Read the current privacy and KYC policies.
- Submit documents only through the verified account channel.
- Keep copies of official communications and transaction records.
- Never share passwords or one-time verification codes with unofficial support contacts.
Do not use VPNs or other tools to bypass geographic restrictions or misrepresent your location. Follow the location requirements stated by the operator and applicable local rules.
Set Personal Gambling Limits
Gambling should be treated as paid entertainment, not as a source of income. Even when a service is legally available, there is a risk of losing money.
- Set a fixed entertainment budget before starting.
- Never use money needed for rent, food, bills or essential expenses.
- Do not borrow money to gamble.
- Set a session time limit and take regular breaks.
- Never chase losses or increase stakes to recover money.
- Stop if gambling causes financial difficulties, anxiety or stress.
Use deposit limits, time limits and self-exclusion tools where available. If gambling is affecting your wellbeing, contact a recognised support service in your province.
