Ontario
iGaming Ontario publishes a directory of websites offered by registered operators contracted with it. Its player information states that users must be physically located in Ontario to play on the regulated market. Check the current directory rather than relying on third-party “Ontario accepted” claims.
British Columbia
The Government of British Columbia states that commercial gambling, including online gambling, is managed by the provincial BC Lottery Corporation and identifies PlayNow.com as the only legal online gambling site in the province. The province also states that the minimum gambling age is 19.
Other provinces and territories
Rules, minimum ages, government platforms and regulatory arrangements are not identical across the country. Confirm current information with the relevant provincial or territorial government or regulator. Do not assume an offshore licence or a payment method makes a site lawful for a particular location.
Winberry-specific caution
Winberry’s Terms of Use place responsibility on users to ensure online gambling is permitted where they are located. The operator’s Anjouan licence reference is not the same as registration with a Canadian provincial regulator. We have not established that Winberry is approved in every Canadian jurisdiction.
Before relying on an operator
Check your exact province, the operator’s legal entity, licence status, approved domains, age rules, payment restrictions, complaint process and self-exclusion tools. If local rules are unclear, do not deposit funds until you obtain authoritative advice.
